My name is Angelika Schlakker. From my childhood I was interested in all kind of arts and dances and I was always dreaming about the far away, mysterious India. In primary school I was learning jazz-balett and I got serious in dance when I was 15. I had a taste in different type of dances and got lot of experience in stage performances.

I was searching for something interesting and different from the kind of dances which I met in my life. I fell in love with Bollywood style in 2005 and started learning it on a higher level in 2007. It makes me proud that I started the first weekly Bollywood dance classes in Hungary in May 2009 and I founded Hungary's first Bollywood Dance School: Bollywood Dance Hungary.

From that time lots of performances, classes, workshops and my lovely students are making my life more rich and colorful.

I continued my studies in classical (ballet, jazz ballet, modern dance) and ballroom dances, and in 2012 I've got my degree as a Modern Dance Instructor from the Hungarian Institute of Arts. I got my Sport Instructor degree - with dance specialization - in 2013.

In 2015 I had the opportunity to join a professional Bollywood dance course where I learned from the legend herself: Saroj Khan ji.

For me Bollywood dance is not only a dance style but a lifestyle.
